In addition to teaching woodworking, I also teach a sequence of PLTW pre-engineering courses. The first course in this sequence is Introduction to Engineering Design (IED). Along with the engineering design process, the course teaches students the use of 3D solid modeling programs. Over the years I have created videos to aid me in teaching my students the basic commands of the program we use: Autodesk Inventor Professional. The videos below are for the newest version of Inventor - 2010. When I get a chance I will post videos and instructional powerpoints for older versions of the program. You will need QUICKTIME to view the movies and MS PowerPoint to view the presentations: |
